Great Horned Owl. Click to Send. The Great Horned Owl is often heard hooting at night in densely wooded places in the Golden Isles. We had the chance to photograph this one during the day, dining on a squirrel.	The Ashantilly Center. Click to send. The Ashantilly Center was originally the home of Thomas Spalding, also known as the Ben Franklin of Georgia.
St. Simons Island Lighthouse Gazebo. Click to Send. The Gazebo at the St. Simons Island Lighthouse looks like a lovely place for a wedding.	Jekyll Island Club Hotel. Click to Send The Jekyll Island Club Hotel is Jekyll Island's only four star resort and National Historic Landmark.
Smiling Alligator. Click to Send. This alligator by the Darien waterfront appears to be smiling...we wonder why...	Pileated Woodpecker. Click to Send. The Pileated woodpecker is seen scuting up a live oak. These magnificent woodpeckers are the size of a crow, and the inspiration behind Woody the Woodpecker.
