Golden Isles Art, Theater and Music

Musical and theatrical performances are to be found every week in the Golden Isles (check our Events Calendar for up-to-date information).

The Golden Isles Arts and Humanities Association, housed in the Ritz Theatre located in Historic Downtown Brunswick,  features a variety of productions by  talented performers and musicians. Click here to see their Performing Arts Series line-up for the 2006-2007 season or visit them on the web at www.goldenislesarts.org.

Don't be surprised if you see a face peering back at you among the live oak trees on St. Simons. These uniquely hand-crafted images referred to as "The Tree Spirits of St. Simons Island" were carved into some of the trees as memorials to the countless sailors that lost their lives at sea on ships made from the live oaks.
Golden Isles artists include internationally- known painters and sculptors, jewelry artists, fine art photographers, clay artists and potters. Golden Isles art galleries display everything from contemporary to traditional. Performing arts are popular too. Check our events calendar for the latest in music and theater.
