Beach Ecology: A look at barrier island dynamics and the amazing organisms found along the coast of Georgia. Topics include: erosion, accretion, tides, shell and tell.
Marsh Ecology: A look at Georgia's abundant salt marsh. Learn about tidal creeks, food webs, spartina grass, and the importance of the marsh environment.
Maritime Forest:Explore how sand dunes gradually develop into a mature maritime forest. Discover various plants and animals found in the forest environment.
Additional programs include: invertebrate studies, seining and nets, herpetology, ornithology, sea turtles, sharks, marine mammals, plankton lab, and environmental issues.
